5 Celebrities Who Say They’re Not As Perfect As They Look!
They may seem to have it all: the career, the house, the holidays, the clothes – but these 5 celebrities say they aren’t as perfect as they are portrayed by the media and that those looking in on their lives have the wrong impression. Saying that they can often make mistakes or have struggles of their own, these celebrities don’t believe you can achieve perfection. From body hang-ups to making bad career decisions, these stars admit that they’ve often done things the wrong way in the past and not everything is as blissful as it seems!
Beyonce admits that she suffers from body hang-ups, just like everyone else: “Everybody wants to be perfect, and nobody is, everyone thinks that there’s something wrong with them. I try not to think about it – but I am still a woman and I’m still human and there are certain things about me that I think, God, I wish this wasn’t like that, but I don’t let it consume my thoughts. I am curvier than some women you see on television. There is nothing wrong with curves. And, there’s nothing wrong with looking different from the person on the cover of fashion magazines, because that isn’t real life.”
Jessica often feels torn between her home and work life and says it’s impossible to find a good balance some times:”It’s not perfect. I’m constantly feeling I should be spending more time at home. I installed a kids’ corner in the office, and the baby is really easy right now. But every day is evolving and changing. If I’m not going to be home all day, I know I’ll be home at night.”
Jessica reveals that she once had a wild period and isn’t a perfect person: “I absolutely had a mad, crazy period. Probably 16 to 22-ish, I was sneaking out of the house, getting in trouble. The thing with the US is you can’t drink until you’re 21, but everyone drinks before. Listen, I broke the rules just like everyone else does. I’m not an angel, I’m not a perfect person who doesn’t mess up, eat bad, not work out – I mean, I do all of those things. It’s just for the most part, when I’m working, I don’t feel like I have the choice.”
Miley comments that she often makes career mistakes along the way: “Every career thing I do can’t be perfect, and sometimes my decisions are wrong. I always say the minute I stop making mistakes is the minute I stop learning, and I’ve definitely learned a lot.”
Selena says she can often make blunders of her own and just tries to do her best for the fans who look up to her: “I never really said I want to be a role model. But then when it happened I was so down for it. I’m human, I’m not perfect. I make mistakes all the time, but I guess my job is to keep those mistakes to myself, which I’m already fine doing and just try to be the best I can be for those kids.”
