5 Celebrities Who Say They’ll Never Retire!

Hoping to keep working basically until the day they no longer can, these 5 celebrities say they’ll never officially retire and want to keep going in their profession because they’re so passionate about it. Some just don’t see the point in retiring and believe they would be very bored if they quit doing what they love just because the years have passed by. Others hope they actually die while in the middle of a job because they say their work brings them so much happiness. Believing you can’t just stop working because of a few grey hairs, these celebrities say they’ll never pack it in or call it a day.

50 Cent never wants to quit the music business: “I don’t think I’ll retire. I think you should look forward to me going behind the scenes more. I still have passion for music. And the music business itself has changed. If you can’t figure out how to develop the brand extension and opportunities that allow you to build up the marketing dollar, I don’t see how you can continue to be a superstar.”

Daniel says he wants to die on set some day and loves acting: ”There’s an assumption that people make where if you’ve grown up on a set, surely you must be tired of that or want to go somewhere else. But actually I’ve never known anything but being on film sets and I love them. They are places of immense comfort and familiarity. I hope I get to die on one. Honestly. Later rather than sooner.”

Gisele Bundchen

Gisele loves working and never wants to stop because she is passionate about what she does: “I think (I’ll be) working on things I believe in until the day I’m no longer here, because that makes me want to wake up in the morning. As a model, I haven’t defined a work time, but slowly I’m electing other priorities. So, I think I will never retire, I’ll be always working on something.”

Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy tried retiring but didn’t enjoy it: “I tried retirement. One thing I learnt is you’ve got to have something to retire to. You sit at home thinking, ‘I’m retired.’ I suddenly thought one day day that the time when you’re finally retired is when they nail the f**king lid over your bones in the ground. That’s retirement!”

Cliff Richard

Cliff has been going for decades and although he’ll slow down, he’ll never stop: “While I won’t ever retire – it sounds so serious, that word – I have tried to slow down. I mean, I could stop tomorrow, not announce anything officially and just work when I want to.”
