Reese loves spending Christmas with her kids because it’s a fun-filled time: “I have kids, so it’s a lot about opening presents. And then I start cooking, and I really enjoy that part of it. They play with their toys, and I cook some dinner. It’s nice.”
Sandra sticks to her traditions and goes home each year: “I always go back to Washington where my family live. We start to celebrate on the evening on December 24 and usually go right through to the morning of the 25 December. We have rituals that are unbroken. Christmas is always in the same place for me. I wouldn’t miss it for anything.”
Tim spends the whole year planning his gifts: “I like giving to adults because, since Home Improvement, I enjoyed sharing gifts with a lot of my staff and I really enjoy it. I take a whole year to do it and I look around and find just little stuff. Sometimes it’s stuff that people need and sometimes it isn’t. It’s an expression of a year of gratitude for working with me. It does get a bit much if you let it build up but, for me, it’s kind of enjoyable. I usually go to New York for a week in the middle of Thanksgiving and shop. I love shopping.”
James is a huge fan of the build up to Christmas day: “Not only Christmas Day, but the whole build up. Making mulled wine or having Christmassy-type food. I’m in the mood to listen to Christmas songs throughout the year.”
David loves being surrounded by family: ”Being home with the family celebrating Christmas is my idea of a good time. Victoria and I want our kids to have an English upbringing so that is always special to me.”
