5 Celebrities Who Admit That They Love Smoking
They know it’s bad for them, they really do! But still, they can’t deny that they really enjoy smoking. Be it a cigarette or a cigar, these stars love the taste of tobacco in their mouths and while some have tried to quit and realize their habit has many negative side-effects, they say it’s impossible for them to really give up their habit. Wishing it could be good for them and still advising others not to take it up, these celebrities all have a soft-spot for a good smoke. One of these celebrities even has expensive taste when it comes to the habit – he collects rare cigars and smokes ones worth up to several hundred dollars for pleasure!
Billy Bob Thornton
Billy loves smoking and wishes it was good for him: “I wish I didn’t do it, simply because it hurts other people in my life. If they told me tomorrow that smoking is good for you I would go outside and kiss the grass and sing Hallelujah to God and say, ‘This is great,’ because I love it. Some people love hot fudge sundaes, I love this thing.”
Daniel knows his habit is stupid but admits he loves it anyway: “Because it’s stupid, no offence … yes I love it, it’s dumb and it will kill you … It’s still a constant struggle, they always say you’re an addict and you can never actually stop being a smoker. It’s a horrible thing, it’s a real addiction, very difficult.”
Jay-Z is obsessed with buying and smoking rare and expensive cigars: “You don’t have to spend big but I like to both spend and invest at the same time because some cigars are rare. The most expensive cigar I ever smoked was an OPUS X. You can hardly find them anywhere and they can be, like, $450 (GBP300) per cigar, which is crazy s***.”
Sienna loves smoking and thinks there is no formula for living longer: “I love them (cigarettes). Love them. I think the more positive approach you have to smoking, the less harmful it is. I know it’s an irresponsible thing to say, but I do know people who are 86 and smoked 60 a day and died of old age and other people who smoked for two years and died of lung cancer at 40. So there is no formula. However, there is cancer in my family.”
Simon loves smoking and thinks it makes a fun situation even better:”I genuinely still love smoking. I equate smoking with having a good time. I shouldn’t be saying this but, well, they’re not illegal, are they? After sex – amazing.”
