5 Celebrities Share Their Hangover Cures

No one likes hangovers: the pounding headache, horrible nauseous feeling and incredible dehydration is enough to put anyone off drinking for a very long time after one night’s indulgence. These 5 celebrities have all revealed how they manage to get through their unpleasant hangovers. Some believe hitting the sauce again the next morning kills the pain and they suggest that just one cocktail the morning after solves everything. Others pop a few aspirin before falling asleep, down tonnes of water or swear by their own miracle juice to hopefully skip over that hangover altogether. Here are 5 star tips for beating that horrible feeling the morning after.

Diddy’s hangovers were cured by Mark Wahlberg. Mark explained that he hooked the rapper up with isotonic water: “He asked me about the water and I sent him the water and he responded in the same way that I did… but his benefits were he was able to cure a hangover and still be able to get up in the morning after drinking a gallon of Ciroc (vodka).

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth loves to have a greasy meal: ”I have a few. When I remember, before I go out, I drink this pre-drinking vitamin drink called Mercy. You drink it before and it minimises the hangover. But if I forget, then something greasy, like a cheeseburger and fries.”

Kendra Wilkinson

Kendra believes plenty of water is key: ”Many bartenders say that the best way to get rid of a hangover is to have yet another cocktail. Just one or even better yet, two sugary cocktails like a Mai Tai, and you’ll be back to feeling like your old self. The point is to get a buzz back on, and the pain goes away. Alcohol makes you dehydrated, and being dehydrated is one of the number causes of headaches, it also causes dizziness and dry mouth, so double down on the water before bed and first thing when you wake up. Keep a big bottle next to the bed and drink through the night.”

Pink thinks a beer in the morning solves everything: ”Drink a beer as soon as possible. I used to be able to drink a bottle of wine and not get a hangover. Now, after two glasses I have a headache.”

Slash tries to take some aspirin before bed or has a cocktail upon waking: “The only two cures that every worked for me were taking lots of aspirin before bed, which is really hard to remember, and drinking first thing in the morning. I’m sober now, but I used to keep a cocktail at the side of the bed when I’d go to sleep – you know just whatever I was drinking the night before.”
