She’s a big fan of British fashion, taking inspiration from our underground scenes such as Boy London and now skateboard brand Palace London, after being spotted in one of their designs despite not knowing how to skateboard. And now Rihanna claims she admires wannabe Brit Madonna’s style.
The 24-year-old Where Have You Been songstress is a fan of the kids of Shoreditch and has previously gushed about how much she is in awe of our stylish London youths. Since RiRi is famed for experimenting with her looks, she couldn’t help but dive into our previously fairly unknown cult brands.
But when it comes to looking at celebrity style, Rihanna loves classic styles and the other extreme, Madonna. She told British magazine Closer: "I loved Marilyn Monroe's timeless look. And I'm a big fan of Madonna - she switches it up, and that's what I like to do.’’
"I hate sticking with the same thing," she added. Does that mean you don’t really have a style?

The We Found Love edgy songstress revealed that she loves looking to British fashion designers for inspiration, stating: "Stella McCartney - she's so much fun and so inspiring. I adore her, as well as Christopher Kane - he is the best!"
And like Rita Ora, who recently claimed that she thinks her style is just as important as her music, RiRi added that her wardrobe is just as substantial as her hit records.
The star takes a chameleon-style approach, if you haven’t already noticed, with not only her clothes but her hair and make-up.
"Absolutely, and I don't think of one without the other," she added "My music determines the direction my style is going in. It's music, then fashion, hair and make-up."
The question we want to ask is, is Rihanna expoliting London fashion? You decide.
