Being a world famous rapper and Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend isn’t quite good enough for Kanye West, as the performer-turned-fashion designer will be returning to Paris Fashion Week with his new collection, it has been reported.
The monochrome dressing star is set to showcase his third womenswear line in October after his last attempt at a ready to wear range received mixed reviews by critics.
So Kanye must be growing with angst as his latest offering will be scrutinised in detail as all eyes will be on him and his highly anticipated line.
Since his last collection was revealed to the fashion industry, Kanye has had an increase of female influences in his life, most notably new girlfriend Kim Kardashian, who has her own successful clothing range with sisters Kourtney and Khloe named the Kardashian Kollection.
It’s been said that Kanye will use his relationship with the reality TV star as inspiration for the collection, with claims she may even be his new muse.
And hopes for his third collection are high, since the rapper has no other than trendy singer Rita Ora calling him a ‘fashion icon’ and a host of fashion critics in his favour too.
Eric Wilson from the New York Times said: "In an effort to be extra fair, I will say I liked an oversize cream sweatshirt with zippers running up the sleeves."
