Stylish actress Blake Lively has been making the most of her character Serena van der Woodsen’s enviable wardrobe in the filming of the final season of Gossip Girl.
And the stunning actress has also been showing off her slender pins in her role this season as she stepped out in New York City today to shoot a scene wearing a very short skirt.
At a statuesque 5'10, Blake’s legs looked like they went on forever as she strolled around NYC streets in the floral printed garment, and laid off the heels, mainly because she doesn’t need them - opting for a simple pair of flat beige espadrilles.
She teamed the girly look with a taupe vest top embellished with beads, tucking it into her skirt Serena-style, and carried a neon green handbag to add a little on-trend style into the polished outfit.
The scene appeared to require Blake chatting away into a mobile phone and then walk down a street with a female co-star.
Blake’s hair and make-up was effortless and natural, a signature look of her character Serena, as she wore her blonde locks in a loose, bed hair style and donned a flawlessly fresh complexion complete with pinky nude lipstick.
On her character Serena, a spokersperon told US Weekly: "Serena has gone off the grid, beyond even the reach of Gossip Girl."
"Her friends fear for the worst and hope for the best, but even they can't imagine where they will ultimately find her."
