Being a British-born actress, Mischa Barton has admitted in the past that she feels ‘more comfortable’ in the UK, and it appears that the former OC star was flying the Team GB flag last night by wearing a shimmering gold top.
The 26-year-old beauty attended a David Guetta gig at London’s Old Sorting office last night, the same day the British team won their first two gold medals in rowing and cycling at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Mischa wore an eye catching shimmery gold jumper teamed with a black quilted leather jacket to edge things up and a black pleated maxi skirt.
She accessorised with a baby pink shoulder bag and sported Olympic themed simple gold jewellery to finish off the look.
The actress was later seen leaving the bash with her new man, a London-based actor named Sebastian Knapp.
Despite her rapid rise to fame on the hit US series, Mischa’s family relocated from London to New York when she was six, and has previously claimed that she loved being back on British shores.
She said: ''People assume I'm from Orange County, but I like people to discern that I'm an English-Irish girl who grew up in New York and moved around a lot with her dad's job.''
She added: ''I actually feel more comfortable in England a lot of the time.''
