These days you're pretty much not classified as a star without your own eponymous fashion collection, and now Twilight Saga actress Nikki Reed is following the growing celebrity trend of dipping into fashion designing by launching her own jewellery line.
The 24-year-old beauty has teamed up with Glamhouse.com to create the accessories range, which is named after her grandmother Mattlin Era.
The capsule collection is sentimentally inspired by loved ones and people who have meant the most to Nikki, with each piece having a deeply personal story.
And the focal piece of the collection will be a rose and elaf bolo tie called The Paul, which is enthused by her hubby Paul McDonald and is also reminiscent of earrings her mother had designed when she was younger.
The actress said in a statement: ''Some of my earliest memories are of my mother, sitting behind her sewing machine making clothes for my brother and I when we couldn't afford to buy the cool stuff that was sold in store.’’
She continued: ''When I was old enough to help, we would go and buy fun colored beads to string on elastic and - volia! - I had my first jewery line.''
Nikki is joining many celebs in launching fashion collections lately, with Rihanna announcing today that she will be launching a Spring/Summer 2013 line with River Island!
A Twilight fashion collection would be pretty awesome though...
