Whilst Victoria Beckham has her pick of designer dresses from her very own high-end fashion label, fellow Spice Girl Mel C doesn’t quite have such a luxury, as she had to rip off Kylie Minogue’s swag for the Spice Girls' Viva Forever Musical launch this week.
Former Sporty Spice Melanie Chisholm looked like she’d rummaged through Kylie’s wardrobe when she stepped out in the same £310 Acne dress that the Spinning Around singer donned in Cannes just a few weeks ago.
But who wore it best?
Unfortunately, Mel couldn’t quite pull off the Swedish designer dress which featured a semi sheer skirt and layered top half. It just didn’t look quite right on the singer – perhaps an elegant updo would have saved the day, or a jacket to mix things up and cover up those tatts which inevitably clash with the minimalistic ensemble.
Kylie, on the other hand, got the look nailed as she edged up the virginal white dress with a biker chick leather jacket and dark shades, teamed with a fierce pair of strappy black open toe heels.
She wore her mid-length tresses in a loose, effortless style which emulates the Swedish brand perfectly.
Top marks, Kylie! Better luck next time, Mel.
