H&M have announced its latest designer collaboration with French fashion house Maison Martin Margiela.
The Swedish clothing brand, H&M, has become infamous for linking up with big names in the fashion industry, with Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld and Versace being just some of the high-profile names to team up with the high street giant.
And now H&M have their sights set on some new talent in the form of Maison Martin Margiela, the Paris-based label renowned for its avant-garde designs.
Creative advisor to H&M, Margareta van den Bosch, said: “Maison Margiela is one of the most important and influential fashion houses of the past three decades.''
''I am so excited by this collaboration which will give fashion lovers around the world the chance to wear special pieces by Maison Martin Margiela. ''This collaboration will be a great and memorable fashion moment.“ Well we hope so.
And H&M are even offering a new interpretation of their vision in their collaboration with the French designer, Margareta further stating: ‘’We will bring together the contrasting universes of the two houses in ways that will surprise all.’’
The collection, which will include accessories as well as men’s and women’s clothing, will be sold online and in 230 H&M stores worldwide from November 2012.
