Last night at the Forevermark & InStyle Beauty & Brilliance Celebration at Bar Nineteen 12, Jessica Alba and Busy Philipps walked the red carpet rocking a safe LBD, but both ladies tried to jazz up the look with last season's trend - a sheer panel.
While Jessica Alba tried to shrug off the girl-next-door image in leather, she let herself down with the paneled skirt, we thought this was unflattering for her figure. But, we did love the floral detail on the wrists.
Meanwhile, Busy's look was fairly simple and she kept her boobs in check with the panel, revealing a little bit of cleavage but not too much.
Both stars wore their hair down, with minimal styling - letting their frocks do the talking.
