Look As Good As The Not So Ugly 'Ugly Betty'

We did a double take when we saw this photo of America Ferrera at the International Film Festival in Edinburgh.

We're used to seeing her kitted out in braces and glasses for her on screen alter-ego, Ugly Betty but in this frock we think America is looking good enough to be on the cover of Mode!

The star has spiced up the LBD look by opting for a one shouldered style dress. America adds a black waist belt to add definition to her waist and show of her curves.

To complete the look the actress keeps it classic with a pair of black and white peep-toe heels and simple silver earrings.

So there you have it, an ugly duckling really can blossom into a swan.
