Last night saw indie-rockers The Killers take to The Roundhouse in Camden for the eleventh night of this year’s iTunes Festival and Entertainmentwise were there to witness the events that unfolded as confetti, lazers and pyrotechnics filled a packed venue and made it a gig to remember for their crowds of eager fans.
The band recently sold out a hundred thousand tickets for their upcoming Autumn arena tour in less than a hour and after watching them put their all into an hour’s gig, it’s definitely not hard to see why as years down the line, frontman Brandon Flowers and co are still wowing crowds and managing to get every single fan in a packed venue up on their feet dancing along to some of their biggest hits.
The atmosphere in the venue couldn’t be better, as the band blasted out some of their most well known tracks including the likes of ‘Somebody Told Me’, ‘Smile Like You Mean It’, ‘Human’ and the one that never fails to get a standing ovation ‘Mr. Brightside’.

But the moment of the night came when Brandon sang his way through ‘All These Things That I’ve Done’, accompanied by pictures of a loner carrying a cross over her shoulder, before confetti covered the crowd and it definitely showed that after years – this is a band that aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Funny what a bit of confetti can achieve, eh?
All in all, a great night. Good job guys!
