Idris Elba is officially back on set for his final stint as DCI John Luther in the hit BBC detective series, Luther - and he definitely looks happy to be there!
Idris Elba is rumoured to be taking over from Daniel Craig as James Bond once the blonde 007 has finished filming his next two installments as the iconic British spy but, for now, it seems as if the actor is content to focus on the final third series of Luther.

Neil Cross, the co-creator of Luther, has explained to BBC Radio 4 that the final series will consist of four “perfectly dark, chillingly-formed episodes”.
“The final scene of the final episode is great and we wouldn’t want to continue. I love an ending. I have a weakness for a powerful and moving ending. We’ll go out big and leave it at that.”
Call us crazy, but it sounds a little like they might be planning to kill off Luther himself in the big finale - they wouldn't do that to us, would they?
Either way, we can't wait to see Idris Elba step into Luther's shoes for one last time...
