Movie fans will be happy to know that the first official poster for 'Carrie' has been released, giving us our first glimpse of actress Chloe Moretz in the terrifying titular role...
Chloe Moretz is set to play the title role of bullied high schooler Carrie, as portrayed by Sissy Spacek in Brian de Palma's 1976 original big screen adaptation of the chilling Stephen King novel.

Chloe Moretz in the first 'Carrie' poster, October 15 2012 (Kimberley Peirce)
Directed by 'Boys Don't Cry' helmer Kimberly Peirce, another film which focused on the dramatic effects caused by being a misunderstood teen, the remake is set to offer up a terrifying re-imagining of the original story.
Chloe Moretz has been quoted by Digital Spy as saying that THIS version of 'Carrie' could be likened to Natalie Portman's Oscar-winning film 'Black Swan':
"It's more like the book. It's a more Black Swan version - it messes with your mind."
"You'll see things, and you don't know if you've seen them."
Julianne Moore is set to appear alongside Moretz as Carrie's mother, making this a spectacular cast for a very talented director to play with.
We can't wait to see 'Carrie' when it hits cinemas in 2013...
