Ben Affleck's new movie 'Argo' has already wowed audiences in Toronto, coming second to 'Silver Linings Playbook' in the Audience Choice Award and earning more than its fair share of Oscar buzz.
Now we've got the first poster for the film ahead of its premiere at the London Film Festival next month.
Not just that, we've a first glimpse at the trailer for Affleck's new film, which follows a daring attempt (via a fake movie crew) to rescue Americans taken hostage in Iran during the Islamic revolution that took place in 1979.

Also starring Bryan Cranston, Alan Arkin and John Goodman as well as Affleck, the movie is among the early front runners in the Oscar race, gaining a significant amount of critical accliam.
With a name star like Affleck at the helm and a serious and timely topic underlying the movie's plot, it could have the actor following in the foot steps of Clint Eastwood (not by talking to a chair) and becoming an actor turned director with Oscar potential.
American audiences will have to wait until November 7 to find out what they make of the movie.
