Andy Roddick shocked his fans when he announced he was retiring from the sport of tennis, but Brooklyn Decker and their little one are over the moon.
“I know one person who’s really excited about Andy Roddick’s announcement,” Decker, his wife of three years, tweeted on Friday along with a photo of their English bulldog, Billie Jean.

In the picture, the family pet is seen with his mouth wide open, tongue hanging out, while sitting on an ivory white armchair.
On Thursday at the U.S. Open, Roddick told reporters – on the day of his 30th birthday – that this would be his last tournament as a professional tennis player.
Decker’s husband, who’s set to have a match today in Flushings, New York, also made a similar sentiment to the media after his announcement of retirement.
“I won’t be a deadbeat dad anymore,” Roddick joked.
