The mystery is finally solved for the almost 20 million Britney fans.
The bikini shot where Mrs. Spears flaunts her toned bod that she tweeted earlier this week, apparently, is from 2008.
"Y'all ready for summer to end? I'm definitely not!" the Till the World Ends singer wrote beneath the photo, which was taken from a 2008 OK! Magazine cover.
The then-26-year-old in seen with cascading blond locks, in a all-white bikini, large sunglasses and a smile stretched from ear to ear.

Her followers on Twitter started to get suspicious when the soon-to-be Mrs. Trawick did not mention the location and the date of when the image was taken.
Either way, the X Factor judge provided other photographic evidence that the 30-year-old and mother-of-two still has it going on by posting a new photo Tuesday.
