The X Factor's UK edition may have suffered a slight drop in ratings year-on-year, but Simon Cowell will still be optimistic that the arrivals of Demi Lovato and Britney Spears to its US counterpart will revive the brand's popularity.
Various TV promos have been doing the rounds in the US over recent weeks, and there are now just over three weeks to go until the popstars are seen making their judging debuts on Fox.
One such ad shows Lovato and Cowell's playfully antagonistic relationship taking centre stage, with the 'Skyscraper' singer joking that her boss needs a breath mint.
She also quips that nobody will turn up to his funeral after he slated one auditionee.
A trailer released last month showed Spears as a surprisingly acid-tongued critic, calling one hopeful "bad to the bone" and telling someone else: "You can't destroy that song, sweetie".
We. Cannot. Wait.
