Reports that Zayn Malik had a wandering eye at this weekend's Olympic Opening Ceremony hasn't got to his girlfriend Perrie Edwards as she stepped out for a promotional stint with her Little Mix bandmates this morning (August 14).
The X Factor winners were lucky enough to get a seat in the stadium for the closing ceremony and Perrie praised One Direction who took to the stage alongside other British acts the Spice Girls, George Michael, Muse and Jessie J in front of an estimated global audience of one billion.
“It was amazing! I think the boys did so well. Everyone was amazing.” Perrie said of the performance. “I was just sitting in the audience feeling so proud to be British and to be there. The ceremony was incredible and and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I loved it.”
During rehearsals for the show, we were told the19 year-old got his security team to ask a dancer for her number, though he was turned down.
Perrie looked happy and upbeat outside the ITV studios and appeared to be wearing the same hat that she had leant Zayn for the performance on Sunday where he showed off a new blonde fringe.
Since winning the X Factor at the end of last year, Little Mix have been busy putting the finishing touches to their debut single, and now they've given fans a behind the scenes look at the video!
Jesy, Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade released the video for debut single 'Wings' last month and with the Union Jack backdrop and catchy chorus it's pretty much summed up the patriotic pride we're all feeling at the moment as Brits conquer the Olympics!
In the new behind the scenes vid, the girls take us from makeup and wardrobe right through to the amazing dance routine. It wasn't all fun and games though as we watch the four-some try to perk themselves up after a marathon 22 hour day.
