A host of stars from the music and sporting world joined fans at the Stone Roses' secret London show last night (August 7).
The Manchester legends had announced yesterday day via their Facebook that they would be in the capital for an intimate gig ahead of their headline slot at V festival next weekend.
"Entry to this show is free but strictly limited. We will be giving away a number of tickets today to fans from the London area who bought tickets for Heaton Park, '' The Stone Roses posted.
The message continued: "If you are one of those randomly chosen you will receive an email (via the email address you provided when purchasing Heaton Park tickets) in the next hour offering you the opportunity to claim a pair of tickets.''
We're sure the likes of Paul Weller and Olympic champs Bradley Wiggins, Jessica Ennis and rower Pete Reed were on the VIP list.
Rapper Example and Radio 1 DJ were also in attendance at the show, which saw the band perform their classic track 'I Wanna Be Adored'.
Ian Brown and co signed a new two-album deal with Universal Records last year but have yet to debut any new material during their summer sets.
However The Sun now reports that they will release a brand new album next year.
