PHOTOS: Kate and Wills Spend The Weekend Cheering On Our Olympic Medal Winners

Our lucky charm visited GB headquarters in patriotic red blazer

Team GB's lucky charm Kate Middleton continued her support for Team GB this weekend, cheering the athletes to medal victory in her patriotic red blazer.

She and Prince William arrived at GB headquarters on Friday (August 3) just in time to join Team GB in celebrating their latest gold medal - a new world record for the men's pursuit cycle team. The royal couple then went on to the Aquatics Centre to watch the swimming, where Rebecca Adlington was competing. Whilst last night the royal couple took in Team GB's amazing medal run in the athletic events. Phew that's a busy weekend!

Kate went smart casual for the trip to the Olympic Park on Friday, after donning an Adidas tracksuit earlier that day. She opted for a £70 red tailored Zara blazer with gold detailing, teamed with a polka dot top and black skinny jeans.

Will and Kate had specifically asked for the visit as a way of saying thank you to the volunteers for their hard work into making the Games a success.

There were 20 members of the military, 20 Games Makers and a range of volunteers who are working with Team GB at the gathering. The couple, who are working as ambassadors for British athletes, were later introduced to some athletes from the Commonwealth.

Earlier that evening, Prince William appeared on BBC TV with his brother Harry in a light-hearted interview with Sue Barker. William joked about how he had been dreading an appearance on the "kiss cam" at the velodrome and also talked about his grandma The Queen's Bond girl performance at the opening ceremony.

It was great to see the young Royals getting so involved in the sport. They're hooked, just like us!
