While Liberty Ross has given cheating husband Rupert Sanders another shot it seems that Kristen Stewart won't be so lucky as Robert Pattinson reportedly thinks that he will be letting himself down if he forgives her for cheating on him with her 'Snow White and the Huntsman' director.
Kristen and Rupert were pictured hugging and kissing only ten days ago (July 17) with the story broken by Us Weekly last week. Rob, who has been with his 'Twilight' co-star for three years is said to have been “devastated” by her betrayal and was unsure as to whether to forgive her.
But now sources close to the actor claim that the chance of them staying together are “slim to none” with Rob believing he would be “disappointed in himself if he chose to get back with Kristen” a source told HollywoodLife.
When news broke of the affair Kristen, who has always claimed to want to keep her private life out of the news made a public grovelling statement to Rob who she claimed was the “most important person in her life” and begged him to forgive her for, what she called a “momentary indiscretion”.
But according to a close friend the statement made little difference to the 26 year-old.
"Rob was indifferent to her statement," a source told Grazia magazine.
"Kristen wrote it and she's desperately trying to make up for the fling by expressing her love for him. It's incredible not only that Kristen would do this, but to do so in public beggars belief."
In a public statement released last week through People, Kristen said: "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected.
"This momentary indiscretion has jeopardised the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
