Denise Van Outen went a little overboard with the pastel trend today when she was spotted leaving the ITV studios after a guest appearance on Daybreak.
The 38-year-old mum and TV presenter looked like she’d just discovered this Spring/Summer’s sorbet shade trend and slightly resembled an ice lolly in her block pale coloured ensemble.
The pretty blonde star opted for a pair of lemon skinny jeans – find a pair at Asos – teamed with a mint green Peter Pan collar sleeveless blouse emblazoned with studs from no other than Miss Selfridge.
Denise thought she’d combine the pastel and metallic trends into her look which was complete with a pair of gold strappy sandal heels.

And whilst the summertime outfit showed off the star’s trim figure and bronzed complexion, we can’t help but feel she’s gone a little over the top with the pastel statement dressing, which turns her into a bit of a try-hard in our books.
Work trends the subtle way with one statement piece balanced out with neutral tones or textures to keep things effortlessly stylish without looking like you’ve put the hours in!
