50,000 people turned up to see an array of A- listers take to the Hackney Weekend stage yesterday (June 23).
Local girl Leona Lewis kicked things off, debuting a new album track 'Come Alive', as well as her biggest hits, including smash hit 'Bleeding Love.' The X Factor winner was also joined on stage by rapper Wretch 32 for a cover of Diddy Dirty Money's song 'Coming Home.'
Rita Ora followed, along with a whole array of stellar pop acts including Will.i.am, Nicki Minaj, Tinie Tempah, Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, Dappy, Jack White, Plan B and Florence & The Machine...etc (and breath!) What a line up!
We've put together a gallery of the 'best performances' of the night - with Jay-Z dominating the stage with his massive headlining performance, which saw him joined by Kanye West on stage for an encore and previously in his performance, M.I.A and the Bajan beauty that is Rihanna joined Jay for his opening number. Wowzers!
Plus, Beyonce could be seen shakin that famous booty along to every hit as well. What more could you possibly want from a gig?
Enjoy...
Will you be heading to Hackney Weekend part 2 today?
