Poor Lydia Bright has been left clearing up the mess in her vintage shop after the Essex boutique was vandalised last night.
According to an eyewitness, the TOWIE star was apparently in her store, Belle Sorella, at the time of the incident last night.
Shop worker Katie Corcoran told The Sun:
"It was very frightening. The noise of shattering glass. I've never heard anything like it."
"I don't know if he was showing off or he was doing it to spite Lydia. No-one knows. I just saw him do it then he ran off and everyone went after him."
Lucy Mecklenburgh, Lydia's sister Georgia and mum Debbie were also said to be in the shop. Brave Georgia even chased after the attacker along with members of the TOWIE film crew who were shooting scenes in the store. The group made a citizen's arrest of the suspect and escorted him back to the shop where he was later arrested.
Last night, the boutique's official Twitter feed posted:
"Unfortunately today Bella Sorella was vandalised. The suspect is in custody & the issue is being resolved. Open tomorrow as usual x."
A police spokesman said in a statement:
"An 18-year-old man was arrested for criminal damage and received a caution."
It's not the first time a TOWIE business has been targeted. In February Lydia's co-star Lauren Goodger faced thousands of pounds worth of damage when her newly opened salon was petrol bombed.
