Nicole Scherzinger has been snapped jetting out of Los Angeles for the sunny shores of, erm, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
The one-time Pussycat Doll was spotted by paparazzi at LAX as she travelled to the UK to start work on The X Factor.
After a guest stint this year and back in 2010, she has been named as the official full-time replacement for Kelly Rowland.
She was let go from the US edition of the show last year after failing to connect with American viewers, but producers believe she will have fantastic chemistry with Tulisa Contostavlos, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh.
Anastacia, Mel B, Geri Haliwell, Leona Lewis and Rita Ora have also served as guest panellists so far this year, but Nicole has now taken the reigns.
