Who thought sitting on a panel judging talent for a reality TV show could be so lucrative? But it is as Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and the main man himself Simon Cowell, know all to well.
It's no surprise that Simon is not short of a few bob seeing as though he is the man behind reality TV juggernauts X Factor (both in the UK and US) and Britain's Got Talent. According to the Metro, Simon landed a wage around the sum of £57 million in 2010 putting him in the top five of Highest Earning Male Stars by Forbes last year.
Following the reports that Britney was in the running to become a judge on the X Factor USA, it was claimed by various sources, including TMZ that the star had been offered $15 million to appear on the show. Demi, however got a less, reportedly settling for an amount just shy of $1 million. But hey, the star is only 19!
Whilst there has been speculation surrounding Britney and Demi's fees on the show, little has been said of how much L.A. Reid has been given and we're pretty sure he wants to leave it that way!
Moving onto the UK, reports suggested last year that Gary would return to the X Factor to a wage of an amount above £1.5 million, whilst the Mirror suggested that Tulisa would also see her wage rise to a suggested £1 million.
New X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger is following in the footsteps of Tulisa as she has reportedly been offered £750,000 to join the judges as they find the next big thing in music.
Just like L.A.'s mystery wage, Louis' X Factor wage is still a secret. However, the Mail Online did report that the veteran judge was getting a cool £160,000 to fill in for a poorly Simon Cowell during the X Factor USA auditions.
As these lovely reality TV judges will never divulge how much they're actually getting paid, we're going to have to settle with the various reports claiming the judges wage.
Take a look at these judges who are quids in!
