One Direction star Harry Styles's relationship with Xtra Factor host was all about the sex, according to one of his mates, and it was a "classic Styles" maneouvre.
The couple caused a bit of uproar when it was revealed that the pair were dating, owing to the 14-year age gap, with Harry being just 17 when the pair were pictured enjoying a few sleepovers.
Now Harry's former school pal, Will Sweeney, has told The People that Harry is a "bit of a legend", and not because of his success with One Direction but because of his ability to bed the ladies.
“I remember asking Harry about Caroline and he laughed. He said it was more of a physical relationship than anything else. All his mates think he’s a bit of a legend though. It’s classic Styles. He definitely enjoys the attention and he’s making the most of it.”
It seems as if there's one girl who has caught Harry's eye, and that's Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter Katherine. The pair met briefly during the One Direction tour to America ahead of their debut album release.
“He likes Kim Kardashian but the person that surprised me, because it was so random when he said it, was Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter. Harry just came out and said it one day. He thinks she’s really nice.”
But, Will insists that he can't reveal who else that the One Direction star has been with. He said: “Of course there have been other girls but I can’t really tell you. Harry always had a girlfriend. He always wanted to be in a relationship and wasn’t a type to jump around with lots of different girls. He was definitely a hit with the ladies but he just wanted to be with a girl he liked.”
“At school he had about five different girlfriends but the first definitely serious one he had was Fliss Skinner. He really cared about her but they were both young and it didn’t work out. Girlfriend-wise he was always very romantic. He was very thoughtful and really listened to them. He’s quite sensitive, really.”
Harry's old school pal has dished out a few tips that could help you become Harry's girlfriend but apparently looks don't really mean much to Harry (or age really).
“The perfect girl for Harry? Just be yourself. He doesn’t care what you look like or your hair colour or what you dress like.
“As long as you have a really nice personality and are a nice person, that’s all that matters. The advice I’d give is just be nice and normal because that’s what he’s always gone for. When he became famous I think at first he was really overwhelmed but now this is his reality and everything that is happening to him is just normal now.”
