The Queen has been reunited with her beloved husband the Duke of Edinburgh after he was rushed to hopsital in the middle of the Diamond Jubilee Weekend.
The monarch was forced to celebrate the second half of her Diamond Jubilee weekend without her husband Prince Phillip. But it appears that with the Duke of Edinburgh improving, just as you can't keep a good man down, you can't keep Her Majesty away from those she holds dear.
Less formally dressed than on previous days, Queen Elizabeth arrived at King Edward VII Hospital to pay a visit to her husband of over 60 years.
In scenes that will bring a tear to the eye as much as any of the pageantry held in her honour over the last few days The Queen was a picture of ordinary humanity as she did what thousands across the country do when a loved one is in poor health, and paid a visit to give him her best wishes on a speedy recovery.
