Last week Cheryl Cole appeared on The Voice UK to perform her new track ‘Call My Name,’ and while she was there she sat down with The Voice finalist and will.i.am protégée Tyler James, to give him a few friendly words of support.
Tyler told Entertainmentwise: “I saw her last week when she was here and she gave me some really good advice, because obviously she’s been in this kind of scenario before, coming from the show that she came from.
“She was like, there’s a lot of stuff going on…and it all becomes a bit messy in your head, but just remember when you get on that stage that this is your dream, this is what you want to do.”
Tyler continued to gush about the Geordie stunner, as he revealed to Entertainmentwise: "She's an absolute star. She knows all of this, she's brilliant at it. She's a pro.
Adding: “[Talking to her] got my head into perspective.”
Since meeting last weekend, Cheryl’s also tweeted the 30-year-old charmer: “Was nice talking to you Tyler.. Good luck for the weekend. Ill be rooting for you :) #teamWill”
According to Tyler’s coach will.i.am, Cheryl “thinks Tyler’s the favourite,” and the Black Eyed Peas star is confident in her decision as “she has an ear and she knows what’s coming.”
"She knows exactly the next big thing. I play her the [Black Eyed Peas] record and she'd be like, 'That's your single' and she's been spot on each time.
See if Cheryl is right in The Voice UK final tonight (June 2) at 7.20pm on BBC1.
