Kris Jenner is locked in a power battle over her prize daughter Kim Kardashian as she feels she is losing her to new boyfriend Kanye West.
The ‘momager’ who has masterminded the curvaceous’ star rise the fame was initially thrilled that her daughter had landed such a high profile romance but as the couple get closer she is starting to feel pushed out.
“Kris feels like she is losing Kim to Kayne and she is devastated! She never ever thought Kim would put a man before family, but that’s what Kim is doing,” a source told HollywoodLife.
Their relationship is completely different to the one Kim had with ex-husband Kris Humphries where the 31 year-old was very much in control. During the run up to their lavish wedding last summer the NBA star continuously clashed with his wife-to-be over feeling left out of the wedding plans as Kim and her mum called the shots.
With Kanye it is the opposite and now the 56 year-old is the one left out in the cold.
“Kris and Kayne have really strong personalities and like to be in control. Kim and all the girls are so used to Kris calling all the shots.,” they explained.
The source even hinted that Kim finds Kanye’s attitude a turn on. He has already started to encourage her to be more fashion forward and edgy with her wardrobe choices and has even suggested she gets a tattoo.
“I think deep down Kim likes having Kayne being in charge,” the source added.
But just because Kanye is in charge for now doesn’t mean Kris is going to stand for it.
“When Kris isn’t in control she isn’t happy and she puts a guilt trip on her daughters, especially Kim right now that family loyalty comes first! Even before your husband or boyfriend!”
Kris is said to be now turning her attention to her younger daughter Kendall and is grooming her to become a bigger star even than Kim.
