Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were spotted fleeing The Commons shopping centre in Calabasas yesterday shortly after the 'Boyfriend' star allegedly assaulted a photographer with the brunette tearfully distraught as she tried to get to Justin who was in a waiting vehicle.
The couple had arrived at the complex for a cinema date but became embroiled in a fight with a photographer who wouldn’t leave them alone.
A visibly upset Selena was seen helping her still angry boyfriend to put his shoes and hat back on following the scuffle which ended with the photographer being taken to hospital. As she got into the vehicle with Justin the couple appear to be having a heated exchange, emotions running high.
According to the Daily Mail the ‘Boyfriend’ star is wanted for questioning over the incident which led to Fire and Police emergency services being called.
The 19 year-old singer took to Facebook to thank fans for support following the shocking incident.
She said: “THANKS YOU SO MUCH to my fans for always protecting me and being there for me. I can't thank you guys enough. I'm sorry I had to rush out. Love you guys.”
Justin reportedly lost his temper with the photographer and now could face charges for assault.
Last night he took to Twitter to remind fans that his new single is out later this week and claimed he would focus on music as the investigation into the incident continues.
