Last night's American Idol finale appeared to be a star studded affair as a host of celebrities arrived at the Nokia Theatre in LA to find out just who would be crowned winner of the show.
Along with former American Idol contestants, the show's first winner Kelly Clarkson walked the red carpet and posed for the cameras. She was joined by Jordin Sparks who attended the event with her boyfriend Jason Derulo. Also in attendance was Carrie Underwood and Fantasia Barrino who have both gone on to have successful careers after their appearances on the hit reality TV show.
Chaka Khan was also spotted arriving at the event ahead of her performance with the top six girls from the show.
Glee actress Jane Lynch, whose character coach Sue Sylvester has tried to do everything in her power to close down the glee club at McKinley High, attended with her family ready to enjoy the show.
