Last week Carey Mulligan stole the show at the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit in New York, by flashing off her new draw-dropping wedding ring and topping many best dressed lists.
This week Mulligan placed her gold and silver pailletted Prada dress on EBay.
Carey told reporters “I feel honoured to be wearing it”. Any lucky person who wins the bid will indeed feel honoured too.
The bidding started off at $500 and soon hit $2025. The bidding opportunities end on the May 19.
The UK size 6-8 dress is being sold with all proceedings being donated to Oxfam America. It’s the second dress that Carey has auctioned for Oxfam.
Miss Mulligan is also reported to be in Johnny Depp’s remake of ‘Thin Man’, taking over from the original part by Myrna Loy.
However, if you have a tiny waist and a deep pocket then get bidding to own Mulligan’s marvellous Prada.
