Kate Middleton wowed on the red carpet as she arrived at the ‘Our Greatest Team Rises’ Gala Dinner in London this evening, stepped out in a stunning low-cut, lace teal dress.
The glowing 30 year-old was accompanied by her husband who looked stylish in a tuxedo as they arrived at the black-tie event to mark the countdown and raise funds for the London Olympic Games this summer.
As usual, all eyes were on what Kate was wearing and the royal didn’t disappoint in a teal Jenny Packham dress. The flowing number was a step away from her usual structured gowns and showed off her slender figure with a delicate lace back and plunging neck line. Her usual bouncing brunette locks her pinned back in an elaborate up do that looked elegant and sophisticated.
The golden couple even managed to bring out a little sun in London with the Royal Albert Hall bathed in glorious sunshine as they arrived on the red carpet.
Olympic legends Sir Steve Redgrave, Jayne Torvill and Denise Lewis were amongst guests invited to the prestigious night. 67 athletes who are set to compete at the summer games were also invited along to rub shoulders with the royals who are ambassadors for Team GB.
Prince William made a speech during the evening and joked that a pigeon was more athletic than him.
“Naturally, I was asked to compete for TeamGB in every sport, but sadly Lord Coe said there were London pigeons with more athletic prowess than me.” He joked according to the Daily Mail.
“Anyway to adapt a famous phrase from Sir Steve Regrave, if you see me in a pair of Speedos during the Olympics, shoot me!”
