Katy Perry looks like a woman in love and from her new gothic look it looks like she's been inspired by her new rocker boyfriend.
The 'Firework' singer picked up her Artist Of The Year trophy at the NARM Music Biz Awards last night (May 10).
Perry wore heavy eye make-up and lipstick alongside her purple hair-do, while also wearing a black panelled dress to the awards ceremony.
NARM President Jim Donio described Katy as a "true global superstar", and he said the 'Teenage Dream' singer had earned her award "in every sense of the word".
Meanwhile, Katy Perry reportedly dissed her ex-husband Russell Brand claiming he didn’t fit the “rock star bill” unlike her new love interest, Florence And The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd.
Despite his wild-lifestyle and rock and roll behaviour it seems the British comedian just wasn’t enough for Katy and the 27 year-old is sure that her new romance will work because Rob has “an edge”.
The ‘Part Of Me’ singer was first spotted smooching with the rocker at the Coachella Festival last week and is said to be head over the heels for the musician.
