Rihanna has broken Nicki Minaj’s record for most online views of her new video.
RiRi’s 'Where Have You Been' has totalled up a whopping 4.9 million views in just 24 hours on video streaming channel Vevo, as it was released on Monday
That overtakes Nicki’s previous tally, which previously stood 4.8 million views of 'Stupid' Hoe in one day earlier this year.
Vevo announced the news via their official Twitter feed. “NUMBERS ARE IN! After filtering out the BS & triple-checking, @Rihanna #WHYBvideo24hrRECORD stands @ 4,937,281! Congrats”
“@Rihanna love this s**t! Congrats to you and the Navi,” they continued.
The 'We Found Love' star was certainly tickled by their OTT Twitter manner, replying with “anybody else lovin the way @vevo tweets?”
'Where Have You Been' is the fourth single to come from Rihanna’s sixth album Talk That Talk.
The clip might not the only video that she might be appearing in this week – it’s been rumoured the singer could make a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend.
