Kate Middleton stepped out for another solo public engagement today.
Whilst hubby Prince William is on a six week deployment in the Falklands, Kate has had to go it alone in recent weeks when it comes to public engagements. Today marked her first outing as royal patron of The Art Room which encourages confidence in disadvantaged children through art.
Kate is a keen art-lover having studied art history at university. Today she got the chance to practice her skills with children at Rose Hill Primary School in Oxford, working on an ‘Owl and the Pussycat’ mural.
The Duchess was even presented with her own apron with ‘Miss Catherine’ printed on the front. Probably a good idea, she didn't want to get any paint on her gorgeous dress, a dove print Orla Kiely number paired with brown ankle boots.
