New parents, Beyonce and Jay-Z, enjoyed a rare night away from Blue Ivy yesterday.
The loved-up couple took in a New York Nets basketball game in their home city last night. It was perhaps not every girl’s idea of a romantic date but B seemed more than happy to have an evening out with her man. Jay co-owns the basketball team so naturally secured the best seats in the house, catching all the action from the players and the half-time dancers.
Beyonce was dressed up for the occasion in a striking yellow blazer, skinny jeans and towering Christian Louboutin heels. She accessorised with a slick of blue nail varnish, the colour she’s been wearing since little Blue Ivy was born in January.
The singer was spotted chatting to fellow courtside spectator, actress Chloe Sevigny, perhaps the two fashion icons were sharing some style tips?
Following the game, the couple had dinner at Redfarm Chinese restaurant before heading home to their little girl. Jay must be hoping to cram in as much family time as possible in the next couple of months, he’s due to kick off his Watch The Throne European tour with Kanye West at the end of May.
