Usually it's the women who add a splash of colour on the red carpet, but at the Elle Style Awards last night, it was the men who were opting for a bolder choice.
East London rapper Dizzee Rascal fully embraced the blue, with a Maya blue suit. While Nick Grimshaw dipped a toe in with a Persian blue jacket and matching tie to go with his white shirt and black trousers.
Nicholas Kirkwood, who picked up Accessory Designer of the Year at the awards held at the Savoy hotel chose a light blue shirt for his black suit, Downton Abbey's Hugh Bonneville chose a cornflower tie.
The only girl to chose blue for the red carpet was new Bond girl Naomie Harris.
