Lana Del Rey performed live in a Los Angeles record store yesterday, amidst contradicting reports over her future touring plans.
Ditching the elegant gowns she has peformed in on the likes of David Letterman and Saturday Night Live, Lana took to the stage inside LA's legendary Amoeba Records wearing just a plain white shirt and a pair of blue jeans (a reference to her song of the same name perhaps?).
Fans lucky enough to get into the intimate performance could well have seen Lana's last live performance for some time after it was claimed that she has pulled a planned club tour of the US in Spring. However, reps speaking for Del Rey have claimed that she will be back in October.
"Lana told MTV several weeks ago that she plans to tour in October." a PR told Idolator. Adding: There has never been a spring tour announced or cancelled. Lana continues to perform in public and on TV. She gave a fantastic performance on Letterman last week; she will appear at the Amoeba in LA today, and the SF Amoeba on Thursday."
Meanwhile, Pitchfork has confirmed that Lana has cancelled an Australian tour scheduled for March as well as her appearance at the US festival SXSW.
