The popular popstar has been a regular fixture on Twitter's top trends over the past couple of days, as his legions of adoring fans take to the social networking site to wish him many happy returns.
It's been a great year for the 19-year-old, who this time last year was gearing up for the X Factor tour. Since then he's amassed more than 1.4 million Twitter followers, released a mega-selling debut album, and topped the charts with 'What Makes You Beautiful'.
Oh, he's also dated Rebecca Ferguson and been linked to Little Mix star Perrie Edwards.
