Actor-director George Clooney put in a chirpy red carpet appearance last night to launch his new film The Ides Of March for the London Film Festival.
The UK premiere, at Odeon West End, was also attended by co-stars Philip Seymour Hoffman and Evan Rachel Wood, though leading man Ryan Gosling was not in attendance.
Evan embraced the pale look and looked slightly gothic in her black ensemble, whilst Philip Seymour Hoffman just looked washed out next to the rather orange Mr Clooney.
The film marks another bold directorial outing for the one-time ER star, who was nominated for a Best Director Academy Award in 2005 in Good Night And Good Luck. However his last stint behind the camera, Leatherheads, was met with lukewarm reviews and made a loss at the box office.
