Stars Turned Out For The American Idol Final

Who attended last night's star studded event?...

Last night saw Scotty McCreery beat out fellow finalists Lauren Alaina to be crowned the 2011 American Idol winner.

And it was a star studded television event, with some of music's biggest stars and American Idol alumni in attendance.

The audience were treated to performances by the likes of Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Carrie Underwood and over 122m votes were cast, setting a new record for the hit FOX network show.
