With the orange carpet all rolled out and the celebrities seated inside the Galen Centre in LA, it was time for Nickelodeon's 24th Annual Kids Choice Awards to start.
The ceremony, which celebrated the talent of our favourite celebrities, television programmes and movies over the past year, saw star's like Justin Timberlake receive an award for his work with children's charities.
Everyone will know that there is no Kids Choice Awards if there isn't any green slime involved, and whilst Heidi Klum got covered in the gooey stuff, Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez (who was wearing white! Eek!) managed to miss getting hit.
As the evening went on, the fun continued with actor Eddie Murphy getting the audience to sing Happy Birthday to him and Johnny Depp getting his own back by sliming the audience when he accepted his award for Favourite Movie Actor.
Young starlet Willow Smith performed her hit Whip My Hair on stage, whilst proud pa Will Smith looked on and funny man Russell Brand jokingly lost his temper with the audience when they flinged the slime back at him.
Protecting his co-presenter with his jacket, Russell shouted: "Johnny, I wish you had drowned them! Bad children!"
We can't wait for next year!
