Before Dreamgirls director, Bill Condon was announced as the director for Breaking Dawn Part's one and two, a few other directors were being considered, including Sofia Coppola.
Sofia told MTV News that she had been in talks to direct the final parts of the Twilight Saga and was impressed by its young stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
She said: "Yeah, yeah, I talked to them about that.
"I was interested in doing something but I didn't end up doing it. But I love, I'm impressed by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson pulling it off in that whole story.
"And my friend's kids love the story so much that I thought it would be fun to make something that they love so much."
Do you think the Marie Antoinette director would have done a good job?
