Yesterday marked a very important day for Americans as it was July 4th, Independence Day.

So on this special day, what were the celebrities of the USA doing to celebrate?

Zac Efron and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens decided on a day by the beach, relaxing with friends was the perfect way to celebrate whilst Jim Carrey took time out to celebrate with his daughter and little grandson.

Not letting a small matter of Independence Day get in the way, Kim Kardashian and her new boyfriend, Austin were spotted indulging in some retail therapy.
